Here is part two of a Zook Book album design for a recent client. The initial design was good but refined in this version. Its always fun to play with these projects and make sure the clients are happy with the design and layout before it goes to print. This wedding was shot at the Blue Ridge County Club in Harrisburg, Pa. One of the keys to a great wedding album design is to make sure it includes something from each part of the events activities. It is also kind of important to have it flow chronologically and have some color and black and white images if they were shot that day.
These Zook Book Albums are one of the finest albums on the market today with a unique feature that no matter what page you turn to the album will lay flat. There is a variety of album colors and inscription options which make it a truly fine wedding album that will last a long while preserving the clients favorite images and tell the story of their day.
I have used the Album Company Zookbinders who make the Zook Book for many years now. This post gallery is a sample of an initial Zook Book design for the clients to peruse and offer their suggestions. The software that this was used for this design is DigitalStudio and Lab Prints. Basically the process is rather simple; The client selects the photographs from their wedding or event that they want to be in their Zook Book, I then design the album layout based on the images selected. The sample here is an initial design only and meant to provide an on-line reference of the basic album pages.
The benefits of having a initial Zook Book design to preview is appreciated by all the clients that have a busy schedule and do not have the time to come into the studio and view a design. I believe the preview album is a fantastic tool for many couples who are often quite busy being newly married. Other uses for the Zook Book are in Bar and Bat Mitzvah albums, parents albums, even portrait session with kids, and occasionally a senior portrait client. The Zook Book product is a step above most of the coffee table books on the market today. Its got a number of different options, colors, sizes, covers, and is the finest album I have ever used on a regular basis.
Here is just a few of the 1000 plus images I did for a recent couple who were recently had a Cameron Estate Wedding in Mount Joy, PA. These are but a few of my favorites and previews only. The venue is one great spot, it was a very hot July day but we managed to all survive and get some great images for this fantastic couple. Wedding are always a lot of work in post production, many people do not realize this when they are looking for a photographer and probably one of the main reasons clients often spend less than they should by ending up with a less experienced photographer than myself.
Here is a few select images from a recent wedding I did in Harrisburg Pa at the Blue Ridge Country Club and golf course. The link is to their Google + page. It was really a fantastic day, I could not have had nicer people to work with. I have always appreciated the one stop wedding plan, where I don’t have to be driving all over the state to capture a wedding. We shot over 1000 images and picked just a few to show here in random order.
This venue has a really cool golf course, great food, and fine customer service from what I saw. The weather on this wedding day was questionable even up to the last few minutes before the ceremony, held on the tee box. As the bride processed a load clap of thunder rang out and in a way marked her arrival!
Here are a few images from a wedding at Mazzi in Leola PA. This was a very fun day and the couple could not have been nicer to work with. It was the smallest wedding I ever shot with me as the only witness beside the minister. The restaurant was awesome of course and the day turned out to be cloudy, with no rain as they rode of into the sunset in their horse drawn carriage.
