Was in Washington, DC a few days ago shooting some stock photography. The day was absolutely beautiful and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, which is only for about a ten day time frame from what I read and heard while walking the grounds with a lot of people enjoying the same. The hardest part of traveling to DC is the trip, avoiding the long delays and traffic jams that seem to be often present. I hope you enjoy these images, it was really a lot of fun shooting them.
Here is an image I call Light on the Wall I shot in Rehoboth beach Delaware while roaming the boardwalk. I noticed the way the light was creating some really neat shadows and the time was what we photographers call the magic hour. I beefed up the contrast and detail in Lightroom and set the angle slightly more than when it was shot. I think this is more of an artsy type photo than anything else but its still a photo subject that I love to take.

Recently did a shoot for Mobilitechs is Wyomissing, Pa. These were really some cool people to work with and they really appreciated my work. Its always great to get a nice testimonial from a great company like this one.
“We just opened the files with our corporate photos from Frank Tunis Photography, and all I can say is wow! Frank did an excellent job of showcasing our employees and office space. He was super easy to work with, patient, and creative during our shoot, and his artistry definitely helps us look great for our clients and prospects. I’d definitely recommend Frank to anyone looking for a pro photographer near Reading, Lancaster, or Allentown, PA.

Here are two recent images I did for a friend and actor who needed some updated head shots from a headshot photographer. These are both kinda cool looks for him and work best in black and white for this purpose. I will show a few more in the next few weeks from this session as there were so many great images to choose from. One of the keys to getting great expression and a powerful presence in a head shot is to create a relaxed and comfortable connection with the subject, which I think was achieved in this work.

This family has been a client of mine for years, this year we had some fun at the Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster, PA to do their annual family portrait shoot. We were surroiunded by lots of really old trains and had pretty nice weather with a few clouds to soften the light.
This Black and White Tree photo was another image I did at Franklin & Marshall College. Its from an area in Buchanan park near the famous statue of the former president and Lancastrian. This image has a infrared process which makes the leaves appear almost white, in this case you have to look to see this on a web based image that is rather small.
Here is a couple shots of beautiful young senior girl at Stauffer Park in Lancaster, PA. This were two of my favorites from the session and both shots were very honest and natural poses for her. Its always fun to work for people that appreciate the art behind the craft of photography. Stauffer Park is also a nice place to shoot in the fall and has many soft light areas that work well for senior photo sessions.
